Hi everyone,
We want to wish our friends Ivy and Mikayla a happy 3rd birthday.
Over the past month the children have explored the magnetic connector and it’s proved to be very popular. Children are making different shapes and using their imagination and creativity. The sandpit and construction site have also a been a big hit in the room; children are building walls, garages and castles with blocks and including other areas to incorperate their interests. To facilitate their continued learning we will be extending those area into space by using kinetic sand as the moon and making planets with children with recycle material, if parents would like to donate small astronaut people and small rockets we would highly appreciate it.
We recently celebrated reconciliation week in the busy bees room by introducing the children to Indigenous dream time stories and Australian native animals. We also looked at Indigenous Art. We will continue to learn more about Australia’s Indigenous culture..
Children have continued to enjoy their music and movement class with Cassie from happy fee every fortnightly Tuesday or Thursday. The children love Cassie in the room and they participate in all the activities.
Winter is now upon us. We would like to remind our parents to put beanies and extra spare clothes in children’s bags. We will be celebrating Mud Day on 29th of June (Monday) so there is a fair chance children will get wet and muddy.
We would like to welcome our new busy bees friends Harris, Nila, Isla, and Hamza and say goodbye to Amelia k, Pamir, Amelia P and Dashiell who moved up to kinder room last month.
