Fees

DSCC is an approved early childhood education provider under the National Law and Family Assistance Law. This means families may be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to help reduce the cost of Long Day Care.

Long Day Care Fees (Effective January 2026)

  • $150 per day (per child)
  • $657 per week (per child)
  • A maintenance levy of $60 per year will be applied to cover ongoing upkeep and improvements. This amount will be split into two payments of $30 each, with the first due in end of April and the second in end of October.

Fees are payable fortnightly and apply throughout the year, including days your child is absent from care.

Securing a Position:

Once a place is accepted, two weeks’ fees are required to confirm the booking. These fees are credited to your child’s account once they commence care.

Important Information

  • DSCC is closed on Public Holidays – no fees are charged for these days.
  • DSCC has a three-week annual shutdown during December/January – no fees are charged during this period.
  • Fees are charged for absences such as:
    • Sick days
    • Holidays
    • Personal days off
  • Fees must be paid fortnightly via our direct debit system
  • Electronic invoices are sent out every fortnight
