The Committee plays a vital role in the ongoing success and quality of the service. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the financial and operational viability of the Centre
  • Employing and supporting staff
  • Developing and reviewing policies
  • Overseeing financial management and budgeting
  • Representing the interests of all DSCC families
  • Collaborating with the Director to meet and uphold the National Quality Standards (NQS)

Executive Committee Roles

From the twelve members, five are elected to serve as Executive Officers:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Assistant Secretary
  • Treasurer

The Committee meets regularly and encourages active parent participation to ensure the Centre reflects the needs and values of its community.

The Management Committee is committed to employing educators who are appropriately qualified, motivated, and passionate about children's rights, as well as being caring, professional, and dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education.
